Your opportunity

Dillon’s Information Technology group is looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join our team of technology professionals. Working from our London office (100% office) you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, technology support and hardware distribution to a diverse national workforce.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

IT Support

  • Provide Level 1 technical support across the organization as part of our Helpdesk team
  • Handle support requests from end users via telephone, chat, email, and via a ticketing platform in a courteous manner
  • Assist with computer set up and maintenance, including hardware and software
  • Contribute to record, track, and document help desk request problem-solving process, including all actions taken to final resolution
  • Manage shipping and receiving of laptops and other IT equipment

Learning and Development

  • Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees

Qualifications

What will you need to succeed

  • A diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related program
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy and quality
  • Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing workload demands

Experience

  • Experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and basic networking knowledge
  • Experience in a professional information technology setting is considered an asset
