Junior IT Operation Specialist

Position based in Budapest, Hungary

We are looking for a Junior IT Operations Specialist to join our IT team in our Budapest headquarters and support our local and international colleagues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Entry-level position. No previous experience is required, however it is an advantage.
• Beginner/Intermediate knowledge of Linux
• Solid knowledge of networking software, hardware, and networking protocols,
• Good communication skills in English

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Endpoint device support (laptops, PCs, cell phones)
• End-to-end responsibility for user management, including onboarding process with the installation and management of laptops and workstations
• Receiving, managing, and resolving employee user needs
• Office infrastructure software and hardware maintenance (eg. printers, scanners, network, cabling, meeting rooms)
• IT inventory management (IT equipment administration, software license management, expiration monitoring)
• Documentation (internal processes, policies, presentations)
• Internal IT related training and communication
• Responsibility for internal services' availability (bug fixing and issue resolution)
• Linux Server administration, network configuration
• Performing regular operational tasks
• Application maintenance: authorization management on application level, coordination of the development of the system environment, determination of backups, change management
• Contribute with IT audits

ADVANTAGES:

• Good problem solver skills
• Pro-activity (it's ok to be a beginner, but you need to develop, hungry for knowledge)
• Interested in information technology and open to learning new things
• Knows the hardware and likes to deal with it (Laptops, PC -s, smartphones, gadgets, etc)
