As part of the STX Group—one of the world’s leading environmental commodity traders — our Budapest team supports the Group’s financial operations across multiple markets. We are currently looking for a Junior Financial Administrator to strengthen our accounting operations and support the dynamic growth of our business.

ABOUT OPERATIONS
The Operations function at Vertis, encompassing Finance, IT, HR, and Middle Office, serves as the backbone of our organization. Working closely with all desks, the team ensures accurate execution, robust compliance, and scalable infrastructure for new products and markets. As part of this team, you'll contribute directly to the day-to-day efficiency and control of our fast-paced financial environment.

We believe you will be great for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent certification
  • Understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive data accurately
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of working autonomously
  • Working knowledge of Excel; familiarity with ERP or expense systems is a plus
  • Fluent English; Hungarian fluency preferred
  • Hungarian work permit required

The role’s core responsibilities:

  • Invoice and Expense Administration - Process incoming invoices and employee expenses in accordance with financial procedures, including proper coding, VAT treatment, and approval routing using ISPnext and Rydoo.
  • Bank and Payment Transactions - Manage daily bank statement imports, perform automated and manual transaction reconciliations, and prepare non-trade payment batches in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting - Support daily, monthly, and year-end closing activities through reconciliations between General Ledger, Subledgers, and bank accounts.
  • Financial Controls and Compliance - Ensure adherence to accounting policies and assist with audits and ad-hoc reporting requests.
