About the role
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, ambitious and aspiring Project Manager, ready to take their next step in their career. As a Junior Environmental Project Manager for our environmental mitigation sites, you will play a pivotal role in leading the successful delivery of rewilding and ecological restoration on a range of sites from maintenance to monitoring. Your expertise will ensure adherence and coordination to meet our NEC4 contract conditions. You will be accountable for programming, logistics management, commercial performance, and client communications, whilst ensuring we meet the highest environmental standards. Your ability to effectively communicate will be critical in fostering a collaborative culture with stakeholders. Managing risks, and driving innovative solutions are also key parts of the role, so a keen eye for detail is required.
You will be accountable for coordinating with Site Managers and Site Operatives with the support of an Assistant Project Manager, Site Administration, QS and a Senior Project Manager.
Key priorities of the role will be:
Delivering landscape management, maintenance, and monitoring to technical specification and in line with programme as per the NEC4 contract conditions
Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages
Risk management
Working with external QS to manage all commercial aspects of the project
Coordination of day-to-day site logistics
Production of all site documentation, including RAMS, WPPs, Environmental permits and Task Briefings.
About you
NEC4 experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role, but ready to take the next step.
Some experience of project lifecycle from business case approval, design, execution & handover
Experience of change control
Ability or aspiration to lead and manage delivery of technical programme / projects along the various lifecycles, in account of cost and schedule requirements.
Management of commercial aspects, including raising Early Warnings, Compensation Events and Technical Queries.
Budget management and submission of Application for Payment in order to support cash flow
Strong communication skills at multiple organisational levels, internally and externally

Start date: July 2024
Salary: £30,000-40,000 depending on experience.
Location: The role will be based from our site in Aylesbury (HP22 4DE), with travel to client meetings and management meetings as needed.
A full UK driving licence will be required for this position.
