Local Unit & Position Description

DNV’s Supply Chain and Product Assurance (SCPA) division’s ambition is to shape the future of assurance through innovating, developing and growing services in Digital, Supply Chain, Product Assurance, Medical Technology, Healthcare and Offshore Aquaculture.

We are looking for Junior Competence Manager to join DNV SCPA Medical Devices team in Slovakia/Czech Republic.

Key tasks:

• Enhance the operational cooperation and interaction within medical resources competence process authorization;
• Ensure effective coordination of competency process in chain: Candidate - Competence Evaluator - Global Competence Unit;
• Preparation of preliminary evaluation of potential auditor/ assessor candidates' profiles - technical evaluation of required competence level, skills and expertises;
• Monitoring of progress in resource authorization with linkages to necessary actions;
• Active cooperation with sales, planning and operation to identify the hiring needs;
• Active role in the overall coordination of projects / project risk management and control in the planning, project delivery and technical review phases.

Position Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent qualification, technical background is beneficial;
• Min. 10 years of previous work experience in a similar role. Prior experience in medical industry is highly preferred;
• Experience in managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders is required;
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships in described chain above;
• Excellent organizational, coordination and project management skills;
• Preferable competency as experience from project management;
• Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude;
• Fluent English is a must, Slovak or Czech is desirable.
