THE ROLE: We are seeking a skilled problem solver with a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing IT infrastructures solutions.
This role is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers Xylem’s platform by partnering with other IT members to set and execute on a strategy that ensures our systems are highly stable, resilient, and will scale to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business.
You will take a lead role in more complex plans to research, evaluate, design and develop IT Infrastructure systems by applying engineering, hardware and software design theories and principles to develop a compatible system infrastructure in line with Xylem’s IT strategies.
The IT Infrastructure Architect will serve as a technical expert and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical assignments that provide for problem diagnosis and solutions documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, and network products in Xylem’s information technology infrastructure environment.

In this role, the working environment is generally in an office setting and may be performed remotely. The physical demands may include but are not limited to moving around in an office environment, frequent oral communication, close vision, and ability to operate office equipment. Up to 20% time spent traveling.
SALARY:
The estimated salary range at this professional level is $88,000 to $159,500 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
