About the Job
Rare’s IT Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting our internal users. This entry-level position requires a passion for technology and a desire to excel. You will be the first point of contact for tickets and inquiries regarding IT issues/requests and will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting computer problems, fulfilling new hardware, software, and peripheral requests, and maintaining inventory. You will provide support to our internal clients in person, through email, and by remote software.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first-tier technical support for users; Escalate issues as appropriate.
- Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of computer systems, printers, softphones, and other peripherals and approved applications.
- Create, update, and monitor all incidents in the Help Desk Ticketing System.
- Participate in the resolution of Help Desk tickets and coordinate work with vendors on all supported systems.
- Maintain internal Wi-Fi system.
- Assist in analyzing outstanding help desk items.
- Develop and maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment and peripherals.
- Provision AD Azure user accounts and administer access to systems.
- Manage deployment of user laptops through Microsoft Endpoint Manager, install and configure software.
- Maintain SoftPhone System and request for Adds/changes.
- Carries out supplementary IT Tasks, such as various technology installations, project assignments, and third-party vendor interaction.
Position Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and the Microsoft Office Suite, including troubleshooting
- Familiarity with the administration of AD Azure
- Familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related area is preferred.
