IT GRC Analyst, EMEA Lead

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Content Management, the IT GRC Analyst, EMEA Lead will be responsible for supporting the organization’s IT security and compliance objectives. You will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and improving the company’s IT governance framework, risk management practices, and compliance activities. Your expertise will ensure that our IT systems, processes, and procedures align with industry standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and internal policies. You will work closely with various stakeholders in Europe and across the globe, including IT teams, business units, and external auditors, to enhance the overall IT security posture and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the IT governance framework, policies, and procedures, with a focus on our EMEA operations as they relate to TISAX, ISO27001 and GDPR.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate measures to enhance IT governance on a global scale.
  • Analyze risk exposure and prioritize remediation efforts based on the severity and impact of identified risks and monitor corresponding mitigation activities.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during compliance audits and assessments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to IT governance, risk management, and compliance activities.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on IT governance, risk management and compliance best practices.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to IT and business teams regarding IT security risk, and compliance matters.
  • Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards impacting the organization’s IT operations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT governance, risk management and compliance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and industry standards and requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, TISAX, ISA, NIST, COBIT).
  • Experience in the European automotive industry standard for information security (ISA).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are desirable.

  • Fluent in German and English, writing and editing skills.
