SCOPE OF POSITION**:**
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology Information Systems (IT/IS) this role will be working closely with the IT Administrator to support various IT oriented project initiatives, to provide daily organizational support to troubleshoot and maintain information technology systems and networks. Duties will include technical and administrative tasks within the IT/IS unit to ensure functionality and efficiency of the organization’s information systems.
The IT Coordinator will need to have experience in IT service management, IT infrastructure, project management and information security٫ together with a strong customer service attitude.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES**:**
Post secondary education in Computer Sciences or Network Administration.
Professional certification preferred in related field.
Strong background in IT infrastructure, service management, project management and information security.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in IT customer service and infrastructure-support role.
Demonstrated commitment to global justice, women’s rights, gender equality and social change.
Professional certifications are an advantage (IT service management, project management and information security).
Direct experience working with:
Experience installing and configuring system hardware, software and third party software.
Experience developing technical guides for users.
Demonstrable strong and detailed troubleshooting knowledge as well as general problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable knowledge of system backup and data security techniques.
Excellent English communication skills, orally and in writing.
Demonstrable ability to deliver technical information in a format that enables end-users to understand.
Ability to set priorities and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
Demonstrable high standards of ethical conduct, honesty and integrity, with a high sense of accountability.
Is empathetic to the end-user, service-oriented and tactful; works in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner; listens to others and responds appropriately.
Ability to work effectively in a wide range of cultural settings.
Ability to work on site in the headquarters and on call availability.
