Responsibilities:
- Works in conjunction with the Project Coordinator to administer AV systems from inception to completion.
- Provides AV support to conference rooms, prepares conference rooms for upcoming presentations, and performs post-event checks for conference rooms.
- Responsible for the design, testing, installation, training, and troubleshooting & support of complex Audio/Visual systems for Youth Villages Theatre, Offices, Training, Conference, & Collaboration Rooms.
- Communicates with staff and external sites to schedule compatibility tests, dry runs, meetings, events, etc.
- Oversees purchasing process of all audio visual equipment and works with Project Coordinator in facilitation of developing appropriate training documentation for each room.
- Has expertise and the ability to work independently in computer operating systems and network application.
- Establishes and maintains effective productive working relationships with vendors
- Performs hardware and software support for IT systems, including but not limited to computer systems, network monitoring systems, video networking systems, security cameras, microphones/mixers/amplifiers/speakers, projectors, and monitors
- Services, repairs, & Installs video camera systems.
- Review & burn video footage of significant events and provide details to management, legal, human resources, and/or law enforcement/investigators
- Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices; keeping security information confidential.
- Performs cabling/wiring for CAT6 and analog cabling
- Monitor functionality of cameras, DVRs, NVRs, Nucleus machines and insure that we are getting consistent footage on all cameras and recording devices at all times.
- Create new user access within Valerus, Vicon, & Verkada
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Bachelors Degree, Training, or certifications in AV related fields a plus
- 3+ years of experience with AV Systems and Security & Surveillance.
- Must have general understanding of audio and video inputs and outputs.
- A strong ability to integrate CCTV to existing computer networks.
- Knowledge of Vicon, Valerus, & Verkada security applications
- Experience with virtual collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and WebEx and their various functionality.
- Must be willing to continue learning and cross-train for other team roles as needed.
- Experience with designing, installing, and supporting complex AV systems.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, and walking.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in areas within ceilings or on walls.
- Demonstrated customer service experience and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in training users to use technology including the creation of supported training materials.
- Must be willing to work overtime on occasion.
- Travel: 25%
