SHEQ Coordinator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and maintain ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 IMS.
- Execute process audits at multiple Mainstream office locations.
- Liaising with Mainstream’s global online legal compliance platform personnel.
- Manage a HSE legal register for activities and ensure Mainstream maintain compliance with all applicable HSE legislation and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and manage SHEQ e-learning modules and e-learning platform for the global SHEQ team.
- Evolve Mainstream’s training registers to meet industry best practice.
- Develop with L& D Manager annual HSE training plans for Dublin and ensure compliance with the plan
- Develop and run an annual occupational wellness program for Mainstream.
- Coordinate the preparation of Mainstream’s annual submission to the Carbon Disclosure Project.
- Responsible for ergonomic assessment program and training for Mainstream staff.
- Review, validate and provide analysis of SHEQ event reporting data, developing systems to identify safety-related trends.
- Maintain SHEQ software tools with IS team, including Power Bi and Power Apps. Explore opportunities for technological innovation that will improve the delivery of the SHEQ program.
- Liaise with other Mainstream departments, building management company and external stakeholders (EPA, HSA, building management company, certifying bodies, industry associations) on SHEQ matters.
- Evaluate contractor EHS management & performance for current and prospective current service providers to Mainstream Dublin office.
- Help drive employee engagement and participation with the SHEQ department and associated initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience.
- Third level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety. Masters degree in related discipline desirable
- Knowledge of and experience in renewables sector an advantage.
- Safe Pass qualified
- Certified ISO internal auditor
- Certified DSE assessor.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to effectively liaise and present to management and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work well in teams and with other departments.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, PPM, Power Bi and SharePoint.
