With demands on the leadership team increasing both internally and externally, a new role has been created to provide close support to the CEO to drive critical changes in the way the MLT operates and to help project the voice of the CEO into key internal and external meetings and forums.
The Head of CEO Office is a high-profile role that supports and advises the CEO to ensure:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
MLT ‘cadence’
Design and implement an executive level balanced scorecard and effective MLT meeting cadence to manage the performance of the business
Ensure meetings are prepared properly with the correct inputs, run effectively according to agreed terms of reference, and actions are followed up (holding others to account before, during, and after meetings)
Challenge and support the MLT to deliver the annual budget and planning cycle
Providing decision support and ad hoc analysis for the MLT through data gathering and analysis

Undertake research ahead of key internal and external meetings for the CEO, ensuring they are properly briefed and accompanying them where necessary to ensure continuity and follow-up
Stand in for the CEO at key meetings where necessary
Prepare complex papers or presentations for the CEO, managing inputs from others to time and quality
Support design and delivery of CEO communications (internal and external)
Plan MLT off-sites, and critical face-to-face meetings that are not part of the normal cadence
