POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of Feeding South Florida’s® (FSF) physical and systematic inventories across all FSF facilities. The ICS creates and sustains best-practice standards for inventory control and provides data-driven analytics to maximize inventory turnover while reducing waste.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage physical-to-systematic inventory discrepancies within one percent (1%) variance across all FSF facilities in accordance with Feeding America (FA) guidelines.
Perform site audits to ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of all inventories in accordance with Safe Food Handling, OSHA, FA, Fair & Equitable distribution guidelines.
Maintain organizational compliance with OSHA, USDA, AIB, FA, Department of Health, food industry, and other relevant licensing and permitting entities.
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed across operations. Including but not limited to Cycle Counting, First-Expire First-Out (FEFO), Loss Control, and Inventory shrinkage.
Reconcile physical and systematic inventory against external stakeholder records including, but not limited to, USDA, FDACS, and other donors.
Reconcile inventory records in coordination with the Finance department to the general ledger for financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze KPIs reports to maximize effective product rotation and reduce waste.
Coach, develop, and manage a team of direct reports who assist with inventory management.
Validate inbound receiving and outbound shipping inventory volumes to assist in organizational decision-making.
Maintain records on inventory levels and inventory valuation.
Schedule and lead regular inventory meetings with appropriate stakeholders and ensure active participation.
Motivate direct reports to comply with all items listed above.
Evaluate direct reports in accordance with company procedures.
Assist management as necessary.

Salary: $47,000 - $50,000 per year
