Holcim Trading is the trading arm of the Holcim Group, the world leader in the building materials industry. Holcim Trading delivers solutions for the seaborne import and export needs of cementitious materials, gypsum, solid fuels and other dry bulk goods.

Responsibilities

Internship in Trading Operations & Shipping (100%, 6 months) in a unique opportunity to learn how the process of execution of trades deals look like. The intern will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the Trading Operation and Supply Chain team focusing especially on:

• gathering and analyzing the data related to the related to vessel voyage, customers, agents, shipowners
• laytime and claims analysis
• prepare reports, statistics for the team using Shipping and Trading Operations internal and external tool
• assisting container spot request
• supporting the digitalization project in Supply Chain

Education/Qualifications

A recent graduate or student of the last phase of studies, capable to work full-time or 80%, passionate about maritime management, logistics and trade, driven by curiosity and willing to develop, learn and develop.

Knowledge & Skills

• A team player with project management skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent data analysis skills, with ability to drive actionable conclusions from large data sets
• Adaptability, agility and ability to work independently
