Internship in Supplier Quality Engineering

INNIO's Supplier Quality Team is the primary interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders. The team is responsible for the development of critical components together with the suppliers as well as for quality management, continuous improvement, root cause analysis and qualifications for purchased components. Through successful supplier development, we strive for a zero-defect mentality in all phases of the product supply chain to ensure that components are delivered on time and according to specification.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the qualification of new suppliers and purchased parts
• Participate in root cause analysis projects for defects of purchased parts
• Work closely with the supply chain team to track and communicate design changes and new product introductions
• Support and independently manage supplier quality improvement projects
• Support with supplier audits and improvement of internal processes

Your Profile:

• You are completing a technical degree (Bachelor/Master) or have recently completed your degree or a higher technical college (e.g. Austrian HTL)
• You have an independent, structured and analytical way of working
• You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team
• You have gained first knowledge in project or quality management and you are familiar with MS-Office applications
• You have a very good command of English, ideally good skills in German

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.548,82 gross per month (x14).
