Opportunity: candi is looking to recruit an ambitious and energetic intern to help improve the data-driven management of our quickly growing distributed solar PV portfolio in emerging markets.

Do you have what it takes?

• Are you interested in the energy AND data side of solar PV?
• Are you keen on optimizing the technical and commercial performance of renewable energy power plants for a more sustainable energy supply?Do you like exploring and leveraging technologies and opportunities of data acquisition, management and utilization?
• Do you appreciate the value of (big) data and its utilization potential through ML?
• Are you interested in a client-centric, innovation-driven and agile working culture and to take on responsibilities early on?
• Do you have or are you pursuing a degree in electrical, mechanical or any other type of energy-related engineering or data science?
• Would you describe yourself as a highly analytical individual?
• Do you have experience in projects developing Python code?
• Do you have strong English communication skills?
• Are you convinced that what we get done as a team surpasses what we get done individually?
• Are openness, honesty, trustworthiness and proactive communication qualities that you can attribute to yourself?
• Do you enjoy working in an international environment solving problems across geographical boundaries and cultural diversities?
• Do you have residency or a work permit for Switzerland?

Workplace: Zurich, with flexibility for remote working. Traveling to one of the key markets (India or South Africa) and working with the team on the ground is an option based on performance.

Duration: At least 6 months full-time.
