Position Summary
The GLAS team is seeking a summer graduate intern with experience in one of the Practice Areas (listed above) and project management. The individual will work closely with our Practice Area Leads in defining a framework for delivery standards across GLAS through a playbook. The playbook is meant to be a compendium of tools, processes and templates to enable stakeholders within Accion to sell better and deliver with quality on a consistent basis.

The Intern will have the opportunity to contribute to the team’s operational strategy and work closely with industry experts passionate about working toward a more financially inclusive and interconnected world.
Position Description:
The GLAS team is seeking a summer graduate intern with experience in one of the Practice Areas (listed above) and project management. The individual will work closely with our Practice Area Leads in defining a framework for delivery standards across GLAS through a playbook. The playbook is meant to be a compendium of tools, processes and templates to enable stakeholders within Accion to sell better and deliver with quality on a consistent basis.
Support creation and communication of an online directory for the GLAS Playbook which will serve as a repository of the tools, templates and materials the Practice Areas create.
Support documentation of the step-by-step operating procedures which describe the approach to be undertaken at each project phase, including:
Roles & Responsibilities involved.
Description of activities and supporting process maps.
Baseline tools and templates to be included at each project phase.
Outputs and delivery standards expected.
Support creation of standardized templates.
Provide support tocreate a user-friendly knowledge management tool to document and track the use of PA tools, templates, and materials across GLAS projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
Undergraduate degree is required; MBA or similar advanced degree program preferred (including international development, international relations, economics, or communications degrees).
Generally, 3+ years of professional experience, consulting experience preferred.
Project Management experience
Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis skills.
Ability to clearly communicate visually and verbally to a variety of audiences (e.g., external, executive, commercial, and philanthropic).
Willingness to embody Accion’s values of Excellence, Respect and Passion for Social Change.
Experience in one of the Practice Areas preferred.
Practical experience in agile methodologies preferred.
Fluency in Spanish preferred.
Period of internship: June – August 2023, dates flexible.
