Community Officer
Contract length: open-ended
Hours: 80%
Location: home-based
Reporting to: Community Coordinator
Remuneration: 2,280 - 2,500 USD/month (this amount will be prorated to 80% time commitment)

The Role
CLEAR Global is looking to strengthen and better support our amazingly rich and diverse community. Our community includes over 100,000 language enthusiasts with a range of backgrounds and experience who support the organization remotely providing both voluntary and professional language services to our NGO partners.
We are looking for an energetic and resourceful Community Officer to support the community to grow and ensure that CLEAR Global has active communities to satisfy the organizational needs of the organization and its NGO partners. The Community Officer will also work with key stakeholders to ensure community systems and processes are fit for purpose.
As a Community Officer, you will be comfortable working remotely with colleagues and volunteers. You will also be a team player with a can-do attitude who is passionate about building a fun, vibrant and caring community.
Responsibilities:
Community Management and Engagement
Capacity Assessment and Resource Management
Provide assessments of the community's capacity when evaluating new projects or partnerships. Offer insights on available resources and language capabilities.
Manage and update the TWB Community Language Capacity List, which helps partners understand our current resources and estimated turnaround times in various languages. Conduct capacity assessments and update the list annually or as needed.
Oversee the development of community-driven resources such as style guides, training materials, and other tools that can support both our volunteers and partners. Ensure these resources are tailored to the needs of our partners and are accessible to the community.
