Third Generation Environmentalism is hiring an
E3G is looking for a summer intern with an interest in climate related public policy in the areas of economics, trade & sustainable finance.
E3G is an independent climate think-tank, and interns will gain insights into non-profit climate work and the creation of knowledge at the heart of E3G in Washington, DC, and its other offices.
Responsibilities will include conducting and assisting with research, data compilation, and policy development for international environmental and financial market-related policy groups, such as the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and International Association of Insurance Commissioners. Research and policy analysis on the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act one year-on is also needed. Supporting activities would include assistance in communications.
The Intern is joining E3G as an educational and training experience and will receive detailed guidance and instruction on how to perform individual tasks by the Relationship Manager(s). Asking questions and questioning are important elements of the internship and are encouraged at all times.

The E3G offers a flexible approach to working life, 35 hours per week with hybrid work option.
The indicative salary range is ~$9,000. The duration of the Summer Intern offer is ~9 weeks, preferably from June to mid-August, subject to start date.
