Climate Fund Managers (CFM) is a leading blended finance fund manager dedicated to securing a sustainable future by investing across global emerging markets. CFM has a long-term vision to structure cutting edge financing facilities around thematic areas of climate change mitigation and adaptation, including renewable energy, water, sanitation, and oceans. CFM is established as a joint venture between the Dutch development bank FMO and Sanlam InfraWorks – part of the Sanlam Group of South Africa.
We provide financing solutions across the entire project lifecycle (development, construction, and operational stages). With our offices in The Netherlands, South Africa, Singapore, and Latin America we believe in a world where sustainable investing and profitability are not mutually exclusive.
The primary focus of the Marketing Communications intern is to support the Operations team in project managing the review and revision of all marketing communication materials and corporate collateral. The aim of which is to ensure brand consistency. The intern will report to the Operations Manager. This internship is available immediately.
Responsibilities
Review current style guidelines and existing templates
Execute and manage the review of communication materials across various business divisions within CFM, amongst others: Policy documents; Presentations; Letterheads; Employment contracts, Business cards, and so on.
Execute and manage the review of visual branding across social media platforms: website; LinkedIn; etc.
Liaise with various stakeholders across all divisions within CFM
Be the central point of contact for the project
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Proactive, and independent with an ability to use your initiative
Results-orientated individual
An ability to multitask, plan and prioritise effectively
Attention to detail
An ability to deliver results and work under pressure
Self-starter
High level of proficiency with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of InDesign or a similar design package is essential
