CFM Singapore’s office regularly offers internships, and these standard internships, in principle, run in the various school's semester breaks.
The Asia Investment Team is seeking an Intern in Jakarta, Indonesia to provide support, primarily in the evaluation of new investment opportunities and the due diligence processes during deal and financing execution, however, the intern will also be involved in portfolio monitoring.
This is a full-time internship opportunity in a unique and innovative start-up environment with a result-based, not activity-based setting. We will give you the chance to build an excellent network while improving the skills necessary to succeed in either the public or private finance sector.
There is an internship allowance, as well as an allowance to cover commuting expenses within Indonesia.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Student in finance, international economics, business, or a related field, with a desire to be involved in fund management and climate finance
Confident and able to work in fast pace dynamic environment
Possess strong numerical comprehension, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of financial services, fund management, and/or investment banking
Strong financial modelling skills
Financial acumen – the capacity to demonstrate knowledge of and insight into financial principles and processes and identify inconsistencies in data
Ability to apply sound business judgment and an analytical, pragmatic and creative approach to problem solving
Desktop Research capability
Proficient in Microsoft office applications, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
