The successful Data Analyst Intern will support the CFM finance team in its efforts to design a workflow app within PowerApps environment to collect and retrieve information at will, relating to a workflow execution of a business process.
Outlining projects’ rationales:
Project: Automation of summarizing legal agreement requirements
Rationale:
Automate the agreements matrix that involves creating an application that allows easy searching on a periodic or event procedure and linking that to the workflow in a team.
Project: Automation of the Know your supplier process
Rationale:
Automate the Know your supplier process that involves a defined workflow with multiple parties contributing information based on the Procurement Policy.
Project: Automation of the Transaction Route Map process
Rationale:
Automate the sequential stages of the Transaction Route Map Process based on the defined workflow with multiple parties contributing information.
General functionalities of a workflow app:
Automated workflow management in adherence with the documented process, such that mandatory steps are not missed
Required support attached and readily available: Ability to track stage of the workflow, preferably with a visual component; Create data connection such that information flow allows for inflow and outflow from Dataverse to:
Components to developing a workflow app:
Collect users’ feedback on app design requirements
Create a Canvas app in Power Apps: create an appropriate table design in Dataverse, such that information is correctly and efficiently stored and can be easily retrieved for data manipulation; design front-end look of the app; create JavaScript functions for simple data management tasks, create Microsoft Flows for the complex data manipulations**- Special focus should be on maximizing efficiency of execution time - a**utomated tests using JavaScript
