You are experienced in all aspects of field investigation (drafting work plans, coordinating field teams and subcontractors, sample collection), data evaluation, report writing, and client communication. A lifelong learner, you want to keep growing intellectually and professionally. You effectively manage tasks and projects, overseeing and delegating technical tasks, producing high quality deliverables, and exceeding internal and external client expectations. Responsibilities

As a Hydrogeologist/Environmental Scientist, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

• Performing/supporting remedial investigations and feasibility studies under CERCLA, RCRA, NEPA, and state equivalent programs, and surface and groundwater resource evaluations
• Implementation of hydrogeologic and sediment investigations, including site characterization, preparation and implementation of field sampling programs, and data evaluations
• Field sampling and/or sampling oversight
• Project and task management
• Communicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, and stakeholders)
• Technical report writing

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a B.S. or M.S. degree in hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental or civil engineering or related technical field.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience
• Professional/Registered Geologist license (or LHG in Washington), or demonstrated progress towards licensure
• Experience in environmental field sampling plan development and execution
• Sediment experience a plus
• Experience in project and client management
• Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• A desire to grow intellectually and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary and diverse teams
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training Certification desirable

Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (10 days or 12 days; determined by title at hire), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be pro-rated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
