About the Internship
Integral is seeking a full-time summer intern for our Human Resources department. This internship is for approximately 12 weeks. As a participant in our 2025 internship program, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Integral’s Human Resources team to gain hands-on experience in human resources. This internship is designed to help bridge the gap between formal education and the workplace.  You will have an opportunity to showcase your creative and technical skills by helping to design systems to improve department efficiencies, while gaining exposure to different functions of human resources and real-world workforce challenges.

Responsibilities
As a Human Resources intern, your job functions could include, but not be limited to:

  • Support department audits and multistate compliance research
  • Assist in the development of state and federal compliance reporting
  • Support recruiting initiatives, including posting job requisitions, checking references, and scheduling interviews
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with various innovative projects, where your ideas and contributions will help shape our human resources landscape
  • Curate content for our Learning Management System
  • Support projects that enhance the functionality of the Human Resources Information System
  • Serve as a backup for quality control of various payroll and HR activities
  • Assist with organizing and updating files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and easy accessibility
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries related to policies and procedures
  • Conduct research on best practices in human resources and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications
Candidates must be a recent graduate or currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in human resources management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with an emphasis on being proactive, creative, analytical, and attentive to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build positive relationships with others
  • Comfortability with receiving and providing feedback as well as having your work reviewed for quality assurance

Hourly compensation ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, available for both part-time and full-time during the spring/summer. Interns are eligible for company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance. If a holiday falls during your internship, you will be paid for the holiday. Additionally, sick leave will be provided in accordance with state law, if applicable.

This position may offer remote, in-office, or hybrid opportunities based on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization.
