Description
INNIO is looking for a HR Coordinator to work with our HR team in our office in Waukesha, WI. This part time role will support the HR team in payroll, benefits, onboarding, compliance, employment law, recruitment, and selection. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), primarily on-site in Waukesha, WI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and effective transition for new hires, including:
- Ordering and ensuring completion of background investigations
- Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new hire paperwork and its entry into systems and employee files
- Scheduling new hires in general onboarding trainings
- Conduct new employee orientations.
- Work with hiring manager and cross-functional departments to ensure new hires are appropriately set up for first day (IT, payroll, workspace, etc.)
- Act as primary onboarding point of contact
- Create and maintain employee personnel files, perform periodic audits of files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting jobs, candidate screening, interview coordination, applicant tracking, drafting offer letters, initiating and reviewing background checks, etc.
- Provide support for payroll processing to include timecard review, post payroll reporting and communications.
- Provide benefit administration support to include invoice processing, reconciliations, and systems monitoring to ensure accurate enrollments.
- Assist in responding to audits, employment verifications, surveys, etc.
- Support the offboarding process, at the direction of the HR Director & HR Manager.
- Manage labor law poster vendor and ensure posting compliance.
- Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
- Assist with HR special projects.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of HR experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Previous administrative work experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently on assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow up on matters quickly.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
