We are looking for candidates based in North America. This role is full-time and fully remote.

As the Human Resources Business Partner-America you will:

  • Provide HRBP support to our Americas region (including Canadian Headquarters) and our team of global contractors.

  • Establish relationships at all levels of the organization to achieve the status of 'Trusted Advisor' within our organization.

  • Partner with the Global HR function on projects and initiatives that span the entire enterprise and support the growth of the business will represent the HR function on cross-functional projects.

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal resources as needed/required.

  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions).

  • Works closely with management and employees to build on our strong culture, drive engagement, and increase productivity and retention.

  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

  • Supports the organization with periodic recruitment efforts including onboarding.

  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

  • Works with assigned teams to implement Talent Management processes including talent assessment and succession planning.

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner or Generalist role - ideally combined with experience in a multi-location and/or multinational setting. Should have some experience supporting Canadian employees.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including total rewards practices, recruiting, employee relations, DEI, talent management, and some understanding of employment laws in different countries.
  • Proven ability to partner with and support all levels of employees.
  • Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.
  • Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance.
  • Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
  • Effective collaborator with proven process improvement skills.Exceptional organization and time management skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a geographically dispersed team.
  • Keep up to date on HR technology trends, developments & best practices.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are a must for this position.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis placed on accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to change, develop and train and/or learn new processes.
  • Well-organized; able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with Bamboo HRIS is a plus.
