We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to join our HR team and support our corporate organization in Switzerland. This role is ideal for someone who is an independent self-starter, who is creative, driven and has a strong inclination for getting things done. The HR Specialist collaborates with the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and HR Services team on a variety of topics to create a workplace where everyone in our organization can thrive and perform at their best, ensuring that employees and managers have a positive experience during every phase of their employment.
- Coordinate HR projects and manage HR initiatives - from idea through to completion - to improve efficiency and delivery of HR support to the corporate organization
- Collaborate with HR Services and HR Business Partners to design or revise policies, procedures and local employee benefits in order to be an attractive employer and comply with Swiss Labour Law
- Partner with the HR colleagues on topics like learning and development, diversity and inclusion and HR projects
- Ensure employee information sources and documents, such as HR related policies, contract templates and intranet sites, are up-to-date and in line with Swiss Labour Law
- Support HR branding and talent sourcing initiatives to attract external candidates, eg. through visible presence in local market, marketing at university and higher education, direct sourcing and social media
- Handle the recruitment and hiring process of temporary and internship positions and support HRBP in recruitment and onboarding activities as needed
- Organize and deliver New Hire Orientation sessions, HR workshops and other events in collaboration with HR colleagues
- Support data management and run periodic data audits to ensure data consistency and accuracy of (sensitive) information related to our HR processes
- Create reporting to track progress on various HR elements of the employee life cycle (performance, diversity, talent pipelines) and enable HR analytics to identify trends and input for potential interventions
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve employee experience and process improvements (new ways of working, employer of choice, local job market) and share with HR colleagues to continue to develop future-oriented HR practices.
Education/Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or similar education in a business studies
- Further education in Swiss labor legislation
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a multinational company with a proven track record of delivering effective HR solutions supporting various aspects of the employee life cycle
- Experience in working with multiple human resources disciplines, e.g. HR Business Partner, HR Services & Payroll, employee relations
- Project management experience is a strong plus
- Experience liaising with external parties (eg. government organization, service providers as well as candidates)
Knowledge & Skills
- Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain collaborative network internally and externally
- Effective organizational abilities and good planning skills to operate effectively within deadlines and in a complex, multi-cultural environment with demanding customers
- Ability to manage (sensitive) personal information and documents confidentially and accurately
- Problem solving and critical thinking abilities and a pragmatic approach to get things done
- Knowledge in Swiss Labor Law required
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong attention to detail with quality outputs
- Sense of urgency and strong customer focus - ability to anticipate customers’ needs and to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to proactively act within own area of responsibility and willingness to take ownership of tasks outside own scope of work
- Strong computer literacy (MS Office, specifically Word, Excel & PPT - experience with Google suite applications is an advantage)
- SuccessFactors and SAP HR knowledge is a plus
Language Requirements
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Other languages (eg. French) are beneficial but not essential.
Travel Requirements
<10%
