Objectives of the assignment
With this internship assignment, the Human Resources team hopes to achieve 3 main objectives below, listed in order of priority:
Objective 1: The intern will be involved with initiating the administrative processes required for effective onboarding of new staff, to ensure a seamless process organization wide, this will include: managing onboarding request, BambooHR new hire packet activation, follow through on onboarding schedules with Line Managers, Scheduling of Global HR Onboarding sessions and communicate new staff information to T&D Advisor.
Objective 2: Provide administrative support for organization-wide Learning & Development framework as well as programs in line with identified knowledge gaps. The intern will actively handle the various administrative processes required for effective learning sessions, not limited to liaison with Interpreters and the necessary follow ups for translation of HR content to be communicated within the organization.
Objective 3: Provide support to other HR projects and activities, not limited to Cuso Values exercise, Long Service Awards, Engagement surveys & HR content for Cuso Newsletter through collaboration with members of the HR team to ensure a seamless process.
Deliverables
Methodology
The intern will support the HR Advisor Values and Talent Management in the administrative part of the Talent Management function. The HR Advisor, Values & TM will ensure access to relevant information for the work to be performed adequately. When the intern needs to meet other individuals in the organization in order to perform the tasks, the HR Advisors will facilitate such meetings.
The intern will not request any external services on behalf of Cuso International. When a lawyer needs to be consulted or if any other expenses are needed, the intern will request the assistance of one of the members of the HR team.
Timeline
Upon reviewing these terms of reference and if interested in this assignment, the successful candidate will be expected to onboard by December 1st, 2022.

Upon completing this assignment, the intern will be entitled to a letter validating his/her experience with Cuso International. The HR Team will also be pleased to complete any additional documentation required by the academic institution.
Other considerations
At the discretion of the Head, Global HR and to accommodate scheduling needs and time constraints, the intern may be deployed to other tasks outside of this framework.
