Our lead product, an onsite, containerized Green Ammonia production system that is modular and scalable, will revolutionize clean energy through a patent-pending, first-of-its-kind technology invented in Canada. The system takes air, water and a sustainable electricity source to produce green anhydrous ammonia with no carbon emissions. Adoption will dramatically support global targets to reduce CO2 emissions. And our decentralized, in situ approach will bring supply chain independence to our first customers – farmers – for the first time.

What YOU will do:
Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, you will focus on driving and cultivating our employee experience at every stage of the employee journey from onboarding through to off-boarding. In this position, you will provide day-to-day HR support, helping the team realize strategic and operational HR initiatives. You will be accountable for the administration of all people-related matters, including new hire onboarding, benefits, and HRIS administration, coordination of recruitment activities, assisting with retention programs, contributing to policy development, and other exciting initiatives. You will assist with building external partnerships and co-op portfolios to ensure we have a top talent pool. You will play a key role in writing our monthly newsletter as well as planning and organizing team events. You will participate in the development of employee engagement programs and events including recognition, rewards, and perks. From time to time, you will perform data/training record audits and reconciliations in the HRIS system as well as monitor compliance with policy acknowledgements. Helping to track key metrics, reporting and analyzing data will also be part of your goals. There is lots to do and learn. You consider yourself resourceful, process-driven, and efficient, someone who will jump on new tasks with enthusiasm. An excellent communicator with exceptional organizational skills, you thrive in a busy environment and love to execute your to-do list; in other words, you are proactive and a self-starter who can juggle competing priorities with ease.
You are phenomenal at researching and presenting information in a creative way. Your attention to detail will enable you to accurately maintain our employee data and training records in our people management system (BambooHR). You value transparency in dealing with others and hold a high level of integrity and work ethic. You are passionate about people and processes and want to make an impact with your work ethic.
You have a degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management and strong understanding of provincial legislation including health and safety, employment, and human rights. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and previous working knowledge of Google Suite, Canva, and HR tools (BambooHR) are considered assets. Minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience at an administrative or coordinator level – preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech setting.
French/English bilingualism is considered an asset.
Must successfully meet the Company pre-employment provision of a Background Check.
