In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure that all site personnel and employees are informed of site safe working procedures and practices
- Collaborate with regional team to ensure PPEs are adequate, distributed and utilized
- Support the investigation of incidents or near miss events, including compilation and completion of necessary documentation (e.g., accident investigation or near miss forms, company tool measurements, submissions, etc.)
- Promote cultural and management change to achieve an interdependent culture (participate in operational meetings, local safety audits, assistance to the Health and Safety Committee, participate in coordination & preventive activities meetings, follow-up of programs of security, etc.)
- Communicate and coordinate EHS trainings (e.g. newhire orientation)
- Support all health and safety activities (e.g. medical checks)
- Communicate regular updates regarding injury and illness awareness and preventive measures
- Check, review and upload all documentation needed at the customer´s portals
Your Profile:
- Completed studies as a Health & Safety Technician (Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology)
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in EHS
- Previous experience and knowledge of the risks involved in the maintenance of equipment in the power generation industry
- Knowledge of in country specific (Hungary) safety regulatory requirements
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and high capacity to work in demanding and changing environments according to the needs
