Head of Sales and Partnerships

Our goal is to scale our operations, plant millions of trees, restore thousands of hectares of habitat and grow a climate solution which removes significant amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere.
About the role:
The Head of Sales and Partnerships will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with new and existing corporates, customers, partners, platforms and other intermediaries. The role is responsible for implementing FFC’s sales strategy, selling our products and will require development of multi-channel sales, alongside revenue forecasting and delivery of revenue growth at levels which ensure profitability. You will work closely with the Commercial, Product and Marketing teams to feedback on customer needs and market trends and will play an integral role in supporting the company's goal to restore key carbon rich habitats, address the biodiversity crisis and combat climate change.
The role will include:
You will be responsible for delivering against ambitious sales targets, developing relationships with large corporate partners, growing our B2B sales, building a customer centric culture and overseeing the Sales & Partnerships team. You will be tasked with the creation of an outbound lead generation strategy to build our demand pipeline, develop large corporate partnerships and work in collaboration with the Commercial and Marketing teams to create an e-commerce strategy that maximises B2B and B2C sales via our website. You will also work closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure that sales platforms and channels have optimal functionality.
New Business Development
Create and execute a multichannel sales strategy, aimed at accelerating revenue growth and hitting sales targets.
Define and work towards ambitious sales KPIs.
Develop a compelling pipeline strategy to meet the key sales objectives.
Identify and target new customers and convert them into accounts.
Maintain awareness of competitors and customer demands, working closely with the Commercial team to react to market shifts.

Collaborate closely with other business functions such as Commercial, Product development, Finance, Marketing and Operations to align plans across the organisation.
Work closely with the Head of Commercial and Product to establish competitive market pricing and react to feedback on customer demands/trends.

You will have strong and proven sales results paired with excellent partnership management skills, having previously delivered against ambitious targets and managed a sales and partnerships team.
You must have:
Leadership experience: Experience of leading a sales function, heading up a sales or partnerships team and developing that team.
Sales Acumen: Significant and proven success in delivering sales targets and revenue growth.
Commercially astute: Proven experience selling into corporates and arranging multi-year deals.
Networking skills: Deep experience of delivering high quality client relationship management. Experience of building high quality consumer experiences via sales platforms or through direct partner management.
Financial and data literacy: Evidence of budget control and forecasting across multiple product lines. Proven market research and analysis skills.
Strategic thinking: The ability to think strategically and implement short-term and longer-term departmental objectives.
Communication and collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative, positive and can-do approach with peers.
Environmental Passion: A passion for environmental conservation, climate change mitigation, and/or biodiversity protection. This will drive genuine conversations with potential partners.
