With supply chain disruptions and the pandemic quickly pushing companies to seek unrealized value in corporate responsibility and sustainability, ELEVATE is in a unique space to scale areas of our business like no other service provider.  ELEVATE’s various products and services are renowned all over the world over for supporting major multinational companies with protecting their brands through Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and/or Sustainability analytics, consulting services, and assessments.  Various services, like our Advisory and Consulting practices, are growing rather quickly, but so too are some key products, including:

  • ELEVATE’s ESG Ratings, Supplier Scorecarding and Data Analytics (“EiQ Analyze”) – With 17 years of collecting information from millions of workers and hundreds of thousands of businesses in over 100 countries, ELEVATE has aggregated our supply chain ESG data analytics, providing predictive insights and real time sustainability and human rights risk information via a sleek, easy to use online platform
  • ELEVATE Digital Learning (“EiQ Learn”) – With nearly 10 years providing over 90 lessons to over 400,000 businesses on topics ranging from “How to Implement an Effective Sustainable Sourcing Program” to “Learn about Codes of Business Ethics”, our library of animated, intelligent digital learning content is the gold standard in the growing field of Sustainable and Responsible Supply Chains
  • ELEVATE’s Responsible Sourcing Assessment (“ERSA”) – We have been assessing and rating suppliers’ sustainability and responsible practices, on behalf of major brands and retailers, for nearly 17 years, and we conduct nearly 18,000 per year. Our gold standard product for these is the ERSA, conducted by over 10,000 businesses since its inception in 2017, ERSA is a unique product, incorporating worker voice and interesting techniques that give the clearest picture of a supplier’s trustworthiness and transparency.

All of these banner products are looking to launch, and many companies – consultancies, law firms, universities, government institutions, online SAAS companies, online marketplaces – have come to ELEVATE independently to seek advice to see how we can partner together to grow.

We are seeking a Head of Partnerships to oversee ELEVATE’s channel partnership strategy and to lead us into the next era of our business as we continue to build the premiere service provider for corporate responsibility, sustainability and ESG services.

The Head of Partnerships will support and manage our channel sales strategy, working directly for the Vice President of Business Development, and working closely with the Chief Customer Officer, Chief Product Officer, Chief Executive Officer and other VPs including the Head of Consulting.  This person would be part of ELEVATE’s Senior Leadership Team, a small cohort of key leaders within the business.

The goal is to have a global leader manage and set up the processes and guardrails around partnerships and channel sales.  This leader will bring our sales policies, objectives, and initiatives; set short and long-term channel sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current programs; recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential; drive revenue and sales cycle engagements for Fortune 500 customers through strategic alliances; develop contractual agreements with partners; collaborate with ELEVATE’s sales executives in various geographies worldwide to define territory plans for channel partnerships and/or sales; engage with key external stakeholders (customers) and internal stakeholders to ensure the partnership drives value and also does not dilute ELEVATE reputation; support ELEVATE marketing to manage the creation and delivery of channel marketing programs, campaigns and communications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Channel Sales or Marketing, Partnerships or similar Market/ Business Development a B2B service provider (such as a SAAS company, consultancy or toher)
  • Knowledge the global sustainability landscape, with a special focus and understanding on global risks related to environmental, social and governance (ESG), including experience of best practices and regional nuances.
  • Flexibility with work hours, as this is a position that will be working extensively with Asia Pacific HQ and European customers as well
  • Experience working with significant business development experience and comfort working to ambitious growth targets
  • Evidence of managing and growing new markets, products and services
  • Extensive experience managing teams and mentoring and supporting team members to realize full potential
  • Applies emotional intelligence and manages conflicts for members in own organization
  • Provides continuous performance feedback so that employees can reflect on your input immediately
  • Extensive knowledge of sustainability strategy and related services
  • Knowledge and experience of responsible sourcing / supply chain issues and challenges in emerging markets
  • Strong mind-set for innovation, product development and responding to market drivers
  • Evidence of successful project delivery to multiple clients (company, government, civil society)
  • Proven team leadership, communication, networking and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Track record for engaging internally and externally at senior executive and c-suite level
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with a preference for one additional regional language
