Cundall’s Business Development and Marketing team play a critical role for the Australian operations as well as across the global business. The team work across the 25 offices, 12 services and 11 sectors to ensure Cundall continue to be recognised as a world leading expert in innovative and sustainable design engineering. This is made possible by the team’s open and collaborative approach to dialogue and creative thinking and our shared ambition to collectively, achieve great things.
In line with the continuing growth of our business in Australia and internationally, we wish to appoint an experienced person to be based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office to play a senior role in the team, providing strategic leadership as well as day-to-day operational management in respect to business development and marketing. The role includes supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of marketing and business development strategies to ensure we build strong brand reputation, maintain relationship with existing clients, driving the acquisition of new clients, and raising the profile of the practice in the external marketplace. This means working alongside business leaders to develop business development and marketing strategy and implementing this strategy personally and through the team.
The role will also include involvement in the bids and proposals process, business to business (B2B), working with the team and fee earners, as well as the opportunity to oversee large-scale projects,
Degree-qualified, with experience in a business development role and/or marketing, you have also proven yourself in professional services and/or a consultancy environment and gained experience of working with marketing/ CRM databases. You have demonstrated your ability to think and work strategically and to co-ordinate and supervise the activities of others to achieve objectives. Crucially, you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and a proven track-record of influencing senior stakeholders in an assertive but diplomatic manner.
A post-graduate qualification in marketing and/or experience in the built environment sector would be advantageous.
