Who You Are:
Reporting to our Growth & Impact Manager, you will be responsible for the results of Flashfood with your account(s). This will include creating strong relationships with retailers’ operation teams, training retailers, gathering feedback, innovating supply, and being a megaphone to highlight your retailer's success.
You’ll be scrappy, independent, and excited about working with your partners to have a big impact and help solve difficult problems. We are looking for candidates that have great people skills which they are looking to apply in a meaningful way.
From the start, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our retail partners on their mission to reduce food waste. By working closely with the partner’s operations leaders, analyzing opportunities and implementing new initiatives, you will reduce food waste and drive results.

What You Will Do
90% of your time will be focused on growing results with your account(s)
10% of your time will be magnifying your account(s) results with the rest of the world!
- Create strong relationships with retailers
- Drive revenue, utilization and conversion across your account(s)
- Own engagement and ensure a smooth operational process that creates a positive impression of the app by our partners
- Conduct meaningful in-store/account visits
- Analyze and present period and quarterly results to key stakeholders
- Clearly communicate the value of Flashfood to our retail partners
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly targets
- Coordinate and run continuous training programs for our retail partners
- Be creative and uncover new ways to drive results
- Help us identify and build best practices
- Proactively maintain communication channels via email, phone, and face-to-face meetings
- Review and action feedback from our shoppers
- Be a brand ambassador for Flashfood in the community
- Become a megaphone for our retailers. Tell their success stories through social media, networking events and more.
- This is not a sales role, but it is results-oriented, so some sales skills will come in handy
- This is not a typical 9-5 job; you will make your own schedule, and you’ll sometimes need to be available for short bursts of work on evenings and weekends — This is a growing tech startup, and we’re all accountable for its success
What You Will Need
- Experience in grocery operations, retail operations, account management, or CPG.
- Strong interpersonal skills. You are able to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and your team.
- You are a great team player. You know how to listen and manage up.
- Fantastic execution skills. You get the job done; even when things don’t go to plan.
- Exceptional analytical skills. You think Excel is fun, and you are proud to say it. Bonus if you know your way around Tableau.
- Hunger for continuous improvement. You love to learn, and you try to get better every day.
- Extremely independent. You are a problem solver and will work hard to make sure the final product is excellent
- Tremendous storyteller. You can captivate an audience with ease.
- Ability to analyze data and share findings in an easily digestible way.
- Amazing prioritization skills. You have the ability to juggle several responsibilities and relentlessly prioritize your time to focus on things that will make the biggest impact.
- A valid driver's license
Travel Expectations
The role requires approximately 15-20 travel days per quarter to stores, conferences, and other partner events, as well as Flashfood team meetings/events.
