Your Responsibilities:
- Own grid code relevant market identification for the business (Eng, PLM, sales, etc.)
- Drive and interpret country specific “grid code” into actionable business decisions and create relevant technical and legal compliance documentation
- Identify product requirements as well as grid compliance certification requirements; Translate to genset level and perform systematic analyses (product delta, is vs required); Reconcile and align grid-relevant topics in planned and ongoing programs
- Work across genset functions to satisfy Grid Codes across development lifecycle (MGPP, NTI, NPI, or other)
- Contribute as approver towards relevant product development milestones for grid code relevant topics
- Single point of contact within INNIO for Grid code consultancy from other functions regarding exemptions, legislation, permissions to connect, compliance documentation and exposing gaps
- Support INNIOs grid code advocacy strategy (EUGENE, EU Level and others), including legislative influencing with grid operators, regulatory modifications with EU and international level organizations, as well as customer educational efforts on product capabilities
- Continuously understand and estimate the impact of new requirements to assess the possible impact on product performance and/or processes to either support or propose modifications within and beyond engineering
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Power systems or similar specialization
- Demonstrated success in interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into technical requirements
- Experience in performing power system and grid code compliance studies using industry standard software (i.e. DigSilent, PSSE, ETAP, PSCAD)
- A recognized technical expert in the field of grid codes regulations and standards preferred
- Experience in reciprocating engine design and development preferred
- Demonstrated collaboration in an international team, including strategic thinking and a systems approach to problem solving
- Ability to understand complex technical areas and a curiosity to expand knowledge though self-guided learning
- Convincing oral and written communication skills across a wide range of audiences in English and German
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
