Your mission at Sistema.bio:

Reporting to the Global MarComs Director, the role of Global Marketing Manager leads the company's marketing efforts by generating demand in all the different markets we opperate. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing international marketing initiatives aimed at our end-customers (farmers). Additionally, you will support Sales Channel Partners in creating joint marketing plans with Sistema.bio that target end-customers based on current market trends and competitor analysis. You will also identify key objectives and establish metrics to evaluate campaign results.

You’ll be in charge of:

  • Developing and executing the global marketing strategy and plans for farmers and funding partners, while collaborating with regional marketing teams to develop and execute their marketing plans, and product launches in regional markets.
  • Leading market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competition in international markets. You will closely work with the Product Management team and R&D team.
  • Supporting regional teams to create compelling and localized marketing content, including rural marketing and digital marketing.
  • Collaborating with our sales channel partners to develop joint marketing programs and initiatives in order to maximize revenue through our joint relationships.
  • Monitoring global, regional, and sales partners campaign performance, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports and insights to improve marketing campaigns.
  • Managing Global Marketing Budget to ensure maximum cost-efficiency.

More about YOU:

  • You have a Master's Degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
  • You have over 8 years of extensive experience in demand generation, lead generation, or similar marketing roles, with a distinct preference for those with a strong background in emerging markets/frontier countries (e.g., Latin America, Asia, or Africa).
  • You demonstrate a proven track record of direct marketing to farmers, particularly for hardware or other product-based solutions.
  • You have experience with regional farmer-specific marketing channels in additional to standard digital tools such as social media and SEO/SEM are preferred
  • You have a robust understanding of digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution.
  • You are passionate about developing and implementing marketing strategies that yield significant lead generation.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and other tools, such as Tableau and SQL, to derive insights using data and analytics.
  • You have an interest in creative marketing approaches and in creating conversion-oriented content.
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish.
  • You have a prior experience in a social impact organization, whether for-profit or nonprofit, is considered a valuable plus.
