In this role you will be responsible for:
- Perform accounting activities impacting multiple finance stakeholders and different workstreams (Intercompany, Contract Assets/ Contract Liabilities, Payroll, T&L accounting)
- Perform judgmental based bookings and specific accruals
- Perform closing related activities on a monthly basis (including the preparation of Manual Journal Entries and special accruals)
- Coordinate daily with other SSC teams (AP, AR, GL)
- Support the preparation of the monthly IFRS and annual financial statements in local GAAP/HGB
- Prepare Account Reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports required for analytical reviews
- Support the preparation of the statutory financial statements with audit related documentation
- Support the broader Finance Team in various projects
Your profile:
- Completed studies with a focus on Finance & Accounting or relevant
- Min. 3 years relevant experience in accounting Fluency in English and in German (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office (with a focus on Excel, experience handling large sets of data)
- Good analytical, research and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to work well with deadline
- First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP, SAGE or another ERP system is a plus
