  • $84,710 per annum, fixed term position of 9 months.

Oxfam Aotearoa is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to take the helm as our Fundraising Events Manager, overseeing Oxfam Trailwalker, our flagship fundraising event scheduled for March 2024. This event is about more than just a walk; it's a journey towards justice, equality, and a brighter future for all.

The Role:

As the Fundraising Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing Oxfam Trailwalker 2024. This iconic event has undergone a thrilling transformation, with a refreshed brand and the exciting addition of a 25km walk. It's your chance to take the reins of this epic journey and drive fundraising efforts that empower change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Oxfam Trailwalker, ensuring its success as a significant fundraising event.
  • Harness your exceptional project management skills to execute a flawless event.
  • Oversee a dedicated team and collaborate with contractors to deliver outstanding results.
  • Champion Oxfam's mission and values throughout the event, connecting people to our work in climate justice, gender justice, and economic justice.
