SCOPE OF POSITION**:**

Oxfam Canada’s fundraising operations are based on a suite of information management systems built on the Salesforce © platform and integrated with a variety of supporting platforms and technologies. The use of data, analytics and predictive modeling has become increasingly important to inform Oxfam Canada’s public engagement and fundraising success.

The Fundraising Data Administrator is a member of the Fundraising team, working closely with the Information Systems team, and is primarily responsible for the transfer of data in Salesforce © , supporting reconciliation of fundraising data and preparing standard and ad hoc reports for the Fundraising department as required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:** (This is not an exhaustive list of duties to be performed) she/he/they:

• Exports and imports data to and from Salesforce into other platforms like Evergiving, Engaging networks, Shopify.
• Provides support to the Manager with data analysis, standard and ad hoc reporting, and data visualization to internal teams, Oxfam International and external vendors upon request;
• Under the direction of the Manager, Fundraising Operations and Donor Services, provides data integrity checks and cleansing projects
• Maintain data and information in Salesforce © and associated platforms, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date. This includes all data hygiene activities, merging duplicate records, and flagging and resolving multiple RDS and duplicate payments.
• Quality assurance on transaction data and data movement within systems
• Monitors discrepancy reports and dashboards, reports out on issues that need resolution
• Support as needed for reconciliation of fundraising data with Finance and Operations
• Ensure that documentation for data processes/policies, best practices, and business rules are maintained and updated as required
• Shares the progress of work with all relevant stakeholders
• Be the main point of contact for the philanthropic giving team in regards to follow up for securities and major gifts coming into the bank account
• Supports the donor relations team during high volume times as required, including back up for vendor support

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES**:**

• Minimum three (3) years database experience, with at least one (1) year experience in database administration and/maintenance
• Minimum one (1) year fundraising experience
• Post-secondary diploma in Database Administration, computer or statistical science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Salesforce © CRM experience highly desirable.
• Experience conducting data queries, data mining, imports/exports and developing database reports.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of other integrated information systems such as FORMSTACK.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple projects with high efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex issues in a concise, professional and easily understood manner.
• Understanding of and experience in the not-for-profit sector in general, and the international development sector in particular considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Knowledge, understanding and commitment to global justice, social change, women’s rights and gender equality are a definite asset.
• Evergiving, Engaging Networks, Shopify experience is an asset.
• Experience with data/financial reconciliation is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to sign and abide the Oxfam Code of Conduct.
