Functional Safety Engineer

Local Unit & Position Description

You will be expected to support the delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting training, technical advisory and assessment services;
  • Developing process asset (process, template, guideline, check-list) and FuSa work products;
  • Leading projects, ensuring they are executed to clients’ expectations on time and on budget;
  • Leading and communicating effectively with project teams and clients;

Position Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field of Electric/Electronic/Computer/Mechanical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive & robot industry (OEMs, Suppliers) or in the certification company;
  • Automotive & Robot functional safety(ISO 26262, 13849-1, 10218) development experience;
  • Possess safety analysis practical methods such as HAZOP, FTA, FMEA, DFA;
  • Possess engineering skills regarding system architectural design;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel, often with conflicting demands and timelines;

Preferred:

  • Automated driving system development experience;
  • Engineering and development experiences per the "state of the art" such as ISO 21448 / ASPICE
  • Communication skills in both Korean and English;
