World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, seeks a Foundations Development Associate
Major Function
The Development Associate supports the stewardship of key foundation grants across all of WWF’s programs. Key stewardship tasks include grants processing, reporting, and financial tracking of grants in the assigned portfolio. The Associate role also provides general administrative support for the foundations function.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Position requires a minimum of two years of demonstrated success in administrative or fundraising roles.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including copyediting, research, and report writing.
Knowledge of development practices and techniques is preferred.
Experience with donor/CRM databases preferred.
Knowledge of conservation and/or international development issues is preferred.
International experience and knowledge of another language are pluses.
Strong foundational knowledge of WWF’s conservation mission, goals, and organizational structure is a plus.
Ability to multi-task, be adaptable, flexible, and responsive.
Excellent organizational ability and project management skills; strong attention to detail.
Intercultural communication skills.
Collaborative team player.
