POSITION SUMMARY

Plastic Bank is looking for a financial analyst to join our team. This role supports Plastic Bank by  playing an important role in analyzing how our well our business is operating in key areas by preparing and sharing analysis of our business’ performance & working across multiple finance functions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to management.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly financial analysis reporting including (P&L, operational report, cash flow forecast, etc.)

• Monthly preparation for the Management report for Egypt Operations.

• Ensure all tax, treasury, bookkeeping, and local financial statements are met on a timely and accurate basis.

• Review the bookkeeping and the accounting cycle through Quickbooks

• Prepare and follow up on the monthly closing entries

• Support annual audits and tax return working in concert with external auditors

• Assist with the budget analysis and preparation

• Track and analyze actual spending vs budget

• Analyze actual performance to plan, recommend and implement corrective actions

• Ensure compliance with local legislative, accounting standards, and internal controls

• Ensure compliance with SOPs

• Receive invoices, Invoice review, payments & vendor management

• Prepare transfers and ensure all required validation

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 2 to 5 years’ experience in the same field (financial analysis or control)
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Experience in ERP system QuickBooks
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Proficiency in English and MS Office
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• Strong Team working and Networking skills.
