In this role you will be responsible for:**

• Support financial planning processes
• Develop in depth understanding of existing business policies
• Support the team by reporting financial results that provide structure and understanding on product and/or country specific cost profiles including the respective balance sheet items
• Perform in depth analysis of specific cost buckets distinguishing between system generated entries vs. manual bookings with the support of senior team members
• Consolidate and track quarterly performance against business plan on key financial targets
• Support quarterly closing, working cross-functionally were needed
• Continuously contribute to process improvements within the assigned area and proactively work on
  the efficiency of daily activities
• Ensure accurate accounting entries for area of responsibility
• Execute basic subledger / accounting activities

Your profile:

• Completed university studies with a focus on Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business Administration
• Fluency in English, any other language is a plus
• Professional experience in a multinational organization with a thorough understanding of Accounting or Controlling processes
• Good analytical skills: ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• First-hand closing experience with Oracle, SAP or another ERP system
