We believe that our teachers and school leaders are the greatest levers for change in the education system. We recently became an accredited higher education institution in South Africa and launched a game-changing mobile app that offers self-paced, bite-sized modules to help teachers in their professional development journey. More than 50,000 teachers in South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria have already enrolled on our professional development modules and joined a pan-African community of peers and experts who provide support and feedback along the way. We are currently applying for institutional accreditation in Ghana to launch Instill College of Education to start a bachelor of basic education programme.
We are hiring a Finance Officer who will play a critical role in safeguarding the College's financial resources and ensuring their effective utilization.

What does the role entail?
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the financial management and administration of the College. This role involves a wide range of duties, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and financial control.
More specifically you will;
Develop and implement annual budgets, ensuring alignment with the College's strategic goals.
Monitor budget performance and identify potential variances.
Prepare financial forecasts and projections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local accounting standards.
Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory authorities as required.
Manage grant applications and reporting requirements.
Monitor grant expenditures and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions.
Coordinate with donors to acknowledge contributions and provide regular updates on the use of funds.
Implement strong internal controls to safeguard the College's assets and prevent fraud.
Conduct regular financial audits and reviews.
Identify and mitigate financial risks
