Finance Manager - Singapore

Core Tasks:

CQC is hiring an interim finance manager for its Singapore office to support and assist the financial controller in the financial and management accounting of the organization. The Finance Manager works under the guidance and supervision of the group financial controller and will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist the Financial Controller in budget projections and reconciliations.
• Perform month end closing of Singapore companies.
• Preparation of management reporting packs.
• Experience in preparing consolidation for monthly management reporting.
• Reconciliation of accounts such as bank, accounts payable and receivable, and intercompany.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

• University degree in finance/accounting.

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in a fast-paced environment with a matrix organization structure.

• Hands on, highly driven, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven technical experience in accounting and finance standards.

• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.

• Fluent in English.

• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Experience with preparing financial statements.

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

• Experience with audit and tax regulatory process.

• Experience with working in an MNC (Multinational Corporation) and being part of finance team with multiple locations and multiple entities.

Duration: This is an interim position to cover for a 6 month leave. Position has potential for permanent hire.
