Role Summary/Purpose
Supporting both Waukesha engine sites in Waukesha, Wisconsin and in Welland, Ontario, the successful candidate will have a firm grasp of primary and intermediate accounting principles. They should also have the ability to perform elementary mathematical operations. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented and able to follow company policy and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Site/region strategy and execution of manufacturing finance activities, assists in planning, pacing, and closing activities.
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable. Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies. Distributes accounting reports as directed.
- Focus on individual results within team. Work is often reviewed by others.
Qualifications/Requirements
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in accounting, with intent to pursue professional designation.
