Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is a dynamic, international non-governmental organisation. We work with people affected by violent conflicts to enhance their security and dignity through Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP). We work to reduce violence, protect civilians in countries affected by violent conflict and its aftermath, and help transform the world’s response to conflict situations.
OVERVIEW
Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) has been granted its registration as a national NGO under the name Nurani Perdamaian Indonesia with country office based in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Since November 2022, NP has been working with local partners in implementing a project on transitional justice and reconciliation and promotion of human rights in 17 districts of Aceh funded by the Netherlands. Collaborating with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, in 2024 NP has trained more than 300 religious instructors nationwide to promote tolerance and violent extremism early detection mechanisms. NP will continue to work in Indonesia to increase safety and security of civilian, preventing/transforming violent extremism, protection of minority at risk of violence including the refugees, religious or ethnic minority, and other vulnerable minority groups.
JOB SUMMARY
Under the guidance and supervision of the Country Manager and Senior Operations Manager, the Finance Manager is responsible for financial and accounting management; financial reporting, accounting, funds management, preparing donor finance reports, contributing to fraud control procedures, payroll, and related administrative tasks. The Finance and Administration Coordinator ensures compliance with donor and governmental regulations as well as Nonviolent Peaceforce internal policies and procedures. In its role as a support to the Programs and other Departments, the Finance and Administration Coordinator provides timely reports and assistance to all departments and to HQ to ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
The incumbent is also responsible for the efficient delivery of general administrative support to various departments and maintains quality control on overall administrative function in full compliance with NP’s standard operational procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in an NGO or similar organisation.
Expertise/in-depth knowledge on QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) software would be given preference
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
Local resident of Aceh
