The Job

As a Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and success of all field operations, ensuring efficient workflows, and leading your team to execute their responsibilities effectively. You will work with the utmost attention to detail and will have a significant impact on the strategic trajectory of our organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the overall functioning of the field operations in Kenya, developing and implementing operational plans, and ensuring their execution.
  • Identifying the focus areas for the teams, providing guidance, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Organizing and optimizing operational processes to ensure the teams' efficient functioning, and delivering verifiable and sustainable results.
  • Ensuring the quality and effective functioning of ecosystems in your operational area, and giving directions on setting up new ones.
  • Managing and supporting partners in our ecosystems, ensuring that they value the benefits of working with our platform.
  • Ensuring that changes and improvements on our tech platform are effectively rolled out and implemented in the field, and proactively providing feedback to the tech teams.
  • Leading and developing the individuals in your team, mentoring them if necessary, and identifying and closing any skill gaps.
  • Involving yourself and assisting colleagues with other projects as needed.

About you

You are a strategic thinker with a passion for execution and a meticulous eye for detail. You have a deep-seated commitment to delivering positive results and an ability to inspire your team. Your understanding of operational procedures and ecosystem management allows you to seamlessly balance macro-level planning with micro-level implementation. You are adept at problem-solving and have a strong ability to communicate, engage, and foster relationships with partners.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational leadership within a global NGO.

  • Experience working in the public health services sector is mandatory.

  • Proven experience in organising multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and making data-driven decisions

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing field operations teams to achieve KPIs.

  • Technologically savvy, with proficiency in operating mobile applications and using technology to improve operational efficiency.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with donors, partners, and team members

  • Willingness to travel as required for the role.

The Rewards

At Triggerise we believe in being open, also when it comes to salaries. The monthly salary bracket for this position is Ksh467,051 - Ksh583,813 gross in Kenya, plus benefits. We will offer you a salary in this bracket depending on your level of experience and how it relates to your future colleagues.
