About Conscious Ground Organics

Conscious Ground Organics (CGO) is a certified organic, professional working farm.  We use regenerative agricultural practices including holistic animal husbandry and holistic food design/cookery.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a hardworking, self-driven and experienced Farm Operations team member to assist our Farm Operations Manager in the maintenance of farm structures, onsite accommodation, commercial kitchen and sheds. This role will also assist with general cleaning, mowing, flail mulching, irrigation work and machinery work. There is also potential to assist with the Farm Operations office tasks such as compliance, WHS and ACO data entry work. Our Farm Operations team are the go-to people for general maintenance on the farm, being ‘the fixer’.

To be successful in this position you will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in this field, operating farm machinery and vehicles with strong communication skills and a desire to care for the environment, including animals and people. We’re seeking an individual with a ‘can do’, helpful attitude, adaptability and ability to multitask and take on urgent items with enthusiasm.

You will have

• Current Drivers licence valid in NSW
• Level 1 and 2 Chainsaw certification desired (not required)
• Minimum 2 years in land management / maintenance operating farm vehicles, equipment and tools
• Knowledge of organic farming systems desired including water and irrigation systems
• Familiarity of regenerative agriculture practices desired
• Conscious communication skills and a self-driven desire to create a positive impact in the world!

What we are offering

• Full Time, 38 hours per week (current hours are 6am - 2.30pm. Our hours change with the seasons so some flexibility is required)

• A full farm to table experience with the food we grow and raise by our Kitchen team, including 1 organic catered meal per day (brunch) Monday to Friday.
