Position: Executive Coordinator – Director for Humanitarian Response /Asia
Location: Nepal ,Vietnam, Thailand , Jordan or Sri Lanka
Contract duration: Permanent
Entry Salary: Local terms and conditions apply with total annual package ranges from 42,000 to 48,000 GBP equipvalent

The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive professional who wants to help people harness their own power to achieve a feminist, just, green transition in the 45 countries where ActionAid works.
This position offers competent and well-organised support to the Asia/ Humanitarian Response Director. This role is responsible for providing complex operational/strategic support across the full range of the Asia/ Humanitarian Director’s responsibilities ; ongoing administrative support to Secretary General’s Directorate and the International Board, Governance Board, Development Committee. The role works with other directorate executive coordinators ensuring synergies and collaborative relationships to enable a stronger and more collaborative Federation.
Who we're looking for:
With significant experience in a similar role, you should also have demonstratable experiences providing executive coordination for international organization where initiative, problem-solving, liaising and diplomacy are required. Candidates with proven experience working in multi-country setting or Asia Region level are strongly encouraged to apply for the role
You should also have strong commitment to ActionAid’s values and ethos, including ActionAid’s feminist leadership principles.
You should have knowledge and practical application of technology, familiar with standard Microsoft platforms and with social media and internet-based work-sharing and virtual seminar platforms. The role should have significant experience of coordination, administration, financial administration, including budget monitoring within an international organisation.
You should also have strong planning and organisation skills and outstanding attention to detail. You should have highly developed interpersonal, influencing and relationship skills with ability to build good working relationships with multi-cultural teams spanning multiple geographies. It is vital that you have the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks to tight deadlines across time zones and for a variety of internal audiences.
